Taiga Wildlife Research is a sole-proprietor business registered in Alaska that was created to fill the growing need for specialized bat research in the north. Over the past decade I have specialized in study design, fieldwork, logistics and community engagement in northern Canada and Alaska. This experience has allowed me to hone my skills and poise me to offer efficient and effective monitoring techniques for logistically challenging locations.
I am currently accepting independent contracts for bat-related fieldwork and winter data work including study design, capture surveys, emergence counts, radio telemetry, acoustic surveys and analysis, general data analysis, manuscript development, community engagement, seminars and public speaking engagements.
